In honor of our 10th anniversary, World of Dance has created the ultimate five-day dance extravaganza. The 2018 World of Dance Championship Week consists of three events: The World Championships, WOD DX, and WOD Industry Awards.
The World Championships: Saturday, July 28th – Sunday, July 29th
Previous known as the WOD Finals, in this now two day event, with dancers from qualifying events around the world that placed 1st-3rd with a score of 80+ in their qualifying event. These dancers will gather at Pasadena Civic Auditorium to compete for the the Championship title, a cash prize, and earn automatic casting on NBC World of Dance television show.
WOD DX: Monday, July 30th – Tuesday, July 31st
DX is a multi-day dance experience that gives participants the opportunity to be the next leading stars in the dance industry. Strengthen your dance training and learn the insider secrets about being on television from the ones that already went through the process during this two-day extravaganza.
WOD Industry Awards: Wednesday, August 1st
The WOD Industry Awards will be an entertainment gathering to celebrate the year’s greatest performances and industry contributions. The red carpet will see some of the industry’s leading dancers, choreographers, actors, and musicians.
