On Saturday, the World of Dance Finals 2017 went down, and it was an experience, to say the least. World of Dance has attracted more than 100,000 dancers from all over world this year, and this past weekend, a lot of performers, fans, friends, and family came together to watch some incredible routines and/or compete, whether on the official stage or the many makeshift ones throughout the halls.
However, we totally understand if you couldn’t make it out. Everyone’s schedule can get pretty damn busy in the summertime, so we wanted to give you readers an idea of what the big finish is like. In one room, the main event was all dance, music, cheers, and applause — the stage that brought together nearly 30 countries.
In the other room, a lively trade show kept up.
FREESTYLERS
In anticipation of the freestyle competition to come in vendor turf, the stage was open to practice.
But it was still dope.
At times, there were also circles on the floor with a crowd.

Then things got official.

Meanwhile, artists came from all over for attendees to witness creativity being carried out from start to finish. From initial concept to final execution, these pillars were major attractions, as people of all ages would return throughout the day to see what was happening in the artists’ area.

Of course, that was all happening while the main jam kept up in the performance hall, with one crew after another killing it.
And the other crews always clapped for their stage-exiting competitors.
All while the crowd watched in awe.
