This week The Cut continues with Part 2 on NBC’s World of Dance. The remaining teams compete for the two spots in the divisional finals, and the 5 remaining acts in the Upper Division compete for two spots in the next round. Catch the full episode here. Last episode we saw as the Junior Division came down to Diana Pombo and Eva Igo. We also saw Super Cr3w and Swing Latino take the stage.

As the competition narrows down and the acts get closer and closer to the $1 million prize, we think Derek said it best to Luka & Jenalyn (but we think it applies to everyone), “you wouldn’t be here if you weren’t fantastic.”

Kinjaz (Team)

Last time the the Kinjaz performed, it was called a “million dollar routine.” With Ne-Yo as their mentor, they looked to bring something new to the competition this week, while still meeting expectations. Their performance incorporated scarves and chairs, as well as the intricate moves we’ve come to expect from the crew.

Final score = 93.5

Chapkis Dance Family (Team)

The Chapkis Dance Family came to this round of the competition ready to take risks. With their new take on Britney Spears, they wanted to leave it all on the stage.

Final score = 85.8

Ian Eastwood & the Young Lions (Team)

Coming from their unexpected win against the Jabbawockeez, Ian Eastwood & the Young Lions wanted to bring a new layer of emotion and storytelling to the stage. The judges were pleasantly surprised by the performance and Derek noted how this group has progressed the most in the competition.

Final score = 89

Team Division final results: Kinjaz and Swing Latino will go head to head for spot in the finale.

Luka & Jenalyn (Upper)

While the duels went better than expected, Luka & Jenalyn had no choice but to step it up this round. Derek advised they work on intention and transitions and he worked closely with the duo through the week. Their performance was more dramatic and emotionally intense than we’ve seen in the past, and was packed with the death-defying tricks we’ve come to expect from the dancers.

Final score = 80.5

Fik-Shun (Upper)

As the only solo left in the competition, Fik-Shun felt it was his time to show his true range as an artist. He incorporated props into his unique style, and worked closely with mentor Derek Hough on how to best use the props to elevate his performance.

Final score = 84.2

Pasion (Upper)

Flamenco group Pasion wanted to bring an explosive experience to the stage to get the judges on their feet. They incorporated a desk into their choreography and brought a stellar performance, but left the judges wanting more.

Final score = 78.8

Les Twins (Upper)

As well-established names, Les Twins came into this round confident in their ability to tell their story through dance. They wanted to know that they killed it, and as Derek Hough advised, they couldn’t hold back. According to guest judge Misty Copeland, they blew her away.

Final score = 93.5

Keone & Mari (Upper)

Keone & Mari were excited to work with Derek as a mentor thanks to his dance and partnering experience. They wanted to show a side that they haven’t shown yet, which was both emotional and intense. Their performance told the story about a time they overcame difficulties in their marriage and they delivered.

Final score = 93.2

Upper Division final results: Les Twins and Keone & Mari will go head to head for spot in the finale.
