Contemporary dancer Nick Daniels wowed the judges with his debut on NBC’s World of Dance last week. (Check out our full episode recap here.) His emotional performance showcased his talent, creativity, and some insane flexibility. “Now I know what contemporary without bones looks like,” celeb judge Ne-Yo said. Unsurprisingly, he made it through to the next round.
Nick’s been dancing since he was a kid at his mom’s dance studio, so it’s no surprise he’s been working on his talent for a long time. But where did that flexibility come from? He recently stopped by Access Hollywood to show it off and explained that he was pretty much born with it. (In fact, he was born with such open hips that his mom had to put multiple diapers on him because he’d always break them off.)
Take a look at his full interview to see him show off his flexibility, and find out what it was like to compete.
