Step aside, fragrances and acting. This summer J-Lo returns to her first love—dance—as a celebrity judge on NBC’s World of Dance. From her Fly Girl days in the early ‘90s to topping the charts with hits like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “Jenny from the Block”, J-Lo is talented entertainer on a myriad of levels.
As a judge of such a high-caliber competition (not to mention being alongside judges Ne-Yo, Derek Hough and host/mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum), J-Lo’s dance background (and let’s face it, killer talent and technique) will be front and center. To celebrate, here are some of her best dance videos to date (in chronological order).
- “If You Had My Love” 1999
J-Lo’s debut single was sure to feature her talent. The choreography really kicks in around 2:45 and showcases her stellar hip hop moves and even features salsa-inspired choreography.
- “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” 2001
Featuring cornrows and beachfront choreography, J-Lo’s moves highlight quintessential early 2000s choreography.
- “I’m Glad” 2002
Inspired by the ‘80s blockbuster, Flashdance, J-Lo’s technique shines as she performs ‘80s jazz choreography and blows the judges away at her audition.
- “Get Right” 2005
This video starts with J-Lo acting as a few different women going to a club, where her video is shown on the TVs. Featuring stilettos and heels, this is arguably one of J-Lo’s most memorable video performances.
- “Goin’ In (ft. Flo Rida)” 2012
A high-energy hip hop/pop mix, the choreography perfectly marries the combo. From men in suits and fedoras dancing on escalators to J-Lo in front of a light show, this video showcases a variety of styles and talents.

Not a music video, but super fans will get a kick out of J-Lo and Jimmy Fallon going head to head pulling moves out of the “velvet dance bag.”
