When World of Dance teamed up with GUESS to put forth a solo competition on social media, everyone knew that a lot of videos with a lot of great routines would be posted. Still, we couldn’t believe the quality of performances that took place everywhere from household bedrooms to public parks.
The goal was to give up-and-coming dancers a bigger, better, more visible platform to express their art. To make it a challenge, though, all submissions had to be to Krewella’s jam “Calm Down” with the hashtags #WODSOLO #WODFinals17 #LoveGUESS.
So, who nailed it? Check out the awesome winners below.
1st Place: Aires Dub
Not only did Aires Dub win a $500 GUESS gift card but he now has the chance to perform at a World of Dance event.

2nd Place: Ladia Yates
Dancer Ladia Yates came in 2nd place and won a $200 gift card to the GUESS store. Here’s how she rocked it.
