The 2017 World of Dance Finals will be held in Pasadena on July 22, 2017, and we can’t wait. This annual event features the winners of World of Dance competitions around the world—the best of the best—facing off to win the title, plus performances by industry starts, vendors, DJs, artists, and a lot more. In anticipation of this must-see event, we’re getting to know the many competitors from around the world.
Today, we’re meeting Full Out, the Upper Division Winners of World of Dance Romania 2017. We caught up with the crew to find out how they met, what it was like to compete in WOD, what they’re looking forward to, and more.
Crew name: Full Out
Title: Upper Division Winners of World of Dance Romania 2017
Hometown: Bucharest, Romania
WOD: Can you give us a little background about the crew: how long have you been together/how did you meet?
FO: We have only been together for 4 months now. It was the first time I ever formed a mega crew, and most of the people were my students from the other crew, plus a few other awesome people who were down to do it.
WOD: Other than winning first place, what was your favorite part of competing at the World of Dance qualifier?
FO: Our favorite part was the whole experience. We learned how to work like a team in such a short time (a month and a week!), and also the crowd and the support were amazing!!
WOD: What do you think made your performance stand out enough to win?
FO: I think the reason why we won was the message of the show: always believe in yourself and stop comparing yourself with everyone else.
WOD: What’s your crew’s dance philosophy?
FO: Work always pays off. Stay humble, and love and respect everyone.
WOD: What are you most excited about for the WOD Finals in Pasadena?
FO: The city, the people, and the awesome teams that are going to perform there.
