Misty Copeland Will Be a Guest Judge on ‘World of Dance’

All three judges on NBC’s World of Dance know the ins, outs, and in-betweens of all things dance. That’s what makes them so dang good at properly evaluating each crew and performer. So it only makes sense for a guest judge to have the same credentials—or more. Naturally, Misty Copeland is one such person.

As a child prodigy that eventually became the first African-American female principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, Copeland brings with her a lifetime of dance experience. Look for her on the July 18th and July 25th episodes of World of Dance. She’ll be a key part of the competition’s three round, a stage known as “The Cut.”
