When you dance as well as Jennifer Lopez and Jenna Dewan Tatum, it’s not too surprising to learn their kids may be following in their footsteps. In an interview wit Entertainment Tonight, NBC’s World of Dance stars revealed that may become the case, given their understanding, curiosity, and interest in a lifetime of dance. We may one day see Lopez’s 9-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian and Dewan Tatum’s 4-year-old Everly on a stage.
LOPEZ: “I think for me, I just — I know that if they’re real artists, if they are artists, there’s nothing I can do to stop them. Which I wouldn’t want to anyway, I would just want to support them and give them all the knowledge that I had and experience.”
It’s hard to know the effect of exposure to the industry.
DEWAN TATUM: “[Channing and I] do have an ongoing joke. We’re like, ‘This will keep her out of the business.’ Like, we actually consciously think of things that will be, like, if she does ease into this, she won’t get into this business, because it’s— she’s grown up around this. Like, going to all of this is very normal for her. But we’ll see.”
