Puerto Rico has been devastated by Hurricane Maria — truly and severely wrecked — and it’s up to outside help to aid the country in its post-hurricane efforts. NBC’s World of Dance judge Jennifer Lopez has donated $1 million from the proceeds of her Las Vegas shows to recovery in Caribbean island nation. Announced at a press conference about Puerto Rico, alongside New York governor Andrew Cuomo, Lopez’s announcement is by no means a surprise. The artist made a substantial donation to helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey only recently.
