Jenna Dewan Tatum has a good life at home with husband Channing and their daughter Everly. But now she’s taking on the role of host/mentor on NBC’s World of Dance later this month. As a dancer for most of her life, she has a passion for the art form and compassion for fellow dancers, and she stopped by AOL’s BUILD Series NYC to talk all about her experience (and hilarious family moments).
“For me, it was exciting,” Dewan Tatum explained at one point. “The thing that stands out the most for me was seeing the surprises, where you think someone would perform a certain way and you have an idea. And they pull out something that gets the whole audience on their feet.”
