On a Saturday afternoon, at Pacifica High School in Oxnard, California, roughly 100 people of all ages danced— krumping and tutting, specifically — with YouTube dancing sensation Dytto. According to the Ventura County Star, it was one for the books and part of a local Hip Hop Mindset workshop, organized by William Venegas.
VENEGAS: “When we started Hip Hop Mindset, we would go out to L.A. a lot and we’d see all these events going on in Los Angeles, but we would never see anything like that in Oxnard, in our community. We wanted to bring it out here to give the kids out here the chance to do the same thing.”
