What happens when your dance crew is getting too rowdy and someone calls the cops? You invite the officer to get down with you—and the video goes viral. It all went down this week in San Antonio texas, where NXG Dance Crew was having a little get-together. Neighbors thought it was too loud and called the cops to issue a noise complaint.

But when officer San Antonio PD Officer Juan Carlos Bruno responded, he ended up joining the dance. The NXG Dance Crew offers youths an alternative activity—dance—to prevent them from getting caught up in drugs and alcohol. As it’s a cause the police sign off on, Officer Bruno Officer soon requested “Demasiado Fuerte” by Rik Indio and showed off his moves.

Leslie Sapp, a mother of one of the children, caught the interaction on camera and shared it with her Facebook with the caption, “So SAPD originally came for a noise complaint at our crew event…. THEN this happened…lol. He even got Jaelie to dance with him…lol. Super cool of him….lets make it go VIRAL!!!!! SHARE!!!!”

Unsurprisingly, the video has gone viral.

“He was being himself,” said SAPD spokesperson Sandra Pickell told NBC News. “Simple encounters like this happen in our community every day and they are just as impactful as an officer saving someone’s life from immediate danger,” Pickell said.

But the story didn’t end there. A week later, the kids decided to issue a certificate of appreciation to Officer Bruno. When they gave it to him, along with a thank you card, he invited them to perform at his upcoming wedding. Of course, they said yes.
