Syrian refugee Ahmad Joudeh has danced in rubble and ruins, at landmarks and theaters. A powerful performer, Joudeh came to Paris, France, in order to work with French singer Sanga for a song written specifically for him, using his motto as the track’s title, “Dance or Die.”
It’s dedication to the craft is overwhelming to behold. Joudeh’s father beat him for it when he was younger, and the bold and brave performer even faced death threats from ISIS. It is unimaginable how he has been tested, and his ability speaks volumes of his persistence.
You can follow him on Instagram. and YouTube.
